Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shift | Monday–Friday with staggered start times (7am, 8am, or 9am); includes on-call hours, 1–2 days per week, and 1–2 weekends per month
Key Responsibilities
- Observe, evaluate, and coordinate care provided to patients in the Special Procedures department
- Participate in direct and indirect patient care activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and mission
- Provide scrub and circulating support during cardiac catheterization and special procedure cases
- Float to the cardiovascular holding area to support pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed
- Respond to on-call needs outside of standard hours as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQI ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
- Impella experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse experience in critical care, medical-surgical, or a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures department
- Advanced Electrocardiogram (EKG) certification
