Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shift | Monday–Friday with staggered start times (7am, 8am, or 9am); includes on-call hours, 1–2 days per week, and 1–2 weekends per month
Key Responsibilities
Observe, evaluate, and coordinate care provided to patients in the Special Procedures department
Participate in direct and indirect patient care activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and mission
Provide scrub and circulating support during cardiac catheterization and special procedure cases
Float to the cardiovascular holding area to support pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed
Respond to on-call needs outside of standard hours as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQI ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
Impella experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Registered Nurse experience in critical care, medical-surgical, or a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures department
Advanced Electrocardiogram (EKG) certification
