Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (Flexible Scheduling)

Schedule
  • Day shifts with flexible scheduling based on department needs:
    • 5x8-hour shifts
    • 4x10-hour shifts
    • 2x8-hour + 2x12-hour shifts
  • Scheduled hours fall between 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • On-Call: 7–11 on-call days per month, including one full weekend of call each month.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Administer medications, conscious sedation, and IV therapy as appropriate.
  • Operate and monitor specialized cardiac equipment.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner PowerChart.
  • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and professional nursing guidelines.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (Required)
  • Previous travel nursing experience (Preferred)
  • Active Michigan RN License at the time of submission
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac interventions and emergency response protocols
Certifications Required
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
