Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP
LocationPort St. Lucie, FL
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-call requirement evenings and weekends | 36-hour guarantee for 3x12 schedule; 40-hour guarantee for 8/10 schedule
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting, including management of STEMI cases
- Operate and monitor advanced cardiac support devices including Balloon Pump, Impella, and Atherectomy devices
- Administer and titrate cardiac medication drips and emergency medications
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Complete required facility modules prior to assignment start and annually as directed
- Participate in on-call rotation during evenings and weekends
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 18 months of RN experience; 2 years preferred prior to travel assignment
- STEMI experience required
- Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation)
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no exceptions
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2 or more years of Cath Lab / EP nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers also considered
- Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac intervention procedures
