Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Rancho Mirage, CA

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | On-Site | Call Required

• Provide direct nursing care in an adult Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory performing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and structural heart procedures
• Assist with and support a wide range of special procedures including Left/Right Heart Catheterization, Coronary Angiography, PCI (PTCA, Stenting, Atherectomy, Thrombectomy), IABP and Impella Insertion, Transvenous Pacemaker Insertion, TAVR, TMVR, Peripheral Angiography and Intervention, Pericardiocentesis, and ASD/PFO Closure
• Participate in STEMI call coverage; on-call rotation includes every 4th weekend and 1–2 weekdays per week with a 30-minute call-back requirement
• Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic-Cupid, GE Mac Lab, and Philips Xper hemodynamic systems
• Float within the hospital as needed within scope of skill set

• Active California RN license required at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Proficiency in ventilator management, IV insertion, PA lines, circulating, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
• Minimum 1 professional reference required at time of submission

• NIH certification preferred
• Experience with Epic computer charting preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered
