Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including pre- and post-procedure care in a 9-bed unit
- Assist with and support performance of heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions
- Operate and work alongside Mac Lab and Philips C-arm equipment
- Collaborate with a daily team of charge nurses, RCIS technologists, and fellow RNs to deliver safe, efficient care
- Document patient care accurately using CPOE electronic medical records system
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- RCIS certification with at least 1 year of experience
- Willingness and availability to take call shifts
- Proficiency with CPOE electronic medical records
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology environment
- Familiarity with Mac Lab and Philips C-arm imaging equipment
- Experience supporting both elective and urgent cardiac catheterization cases
