Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Richmond, VA

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (Electrophysiology)

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Float within scope of practice to other areas of the unit as needed
• Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe
• Maintain accurate and timely patient charting using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting
• Ability to comply with facility background check and screening requirements
• Availability to adhere to shift schedule with no time off during the first week of assignment; any requested time off must be disclosed upfront
• Two professional references required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in a high-volume or Level 1 Trauma Center environment
