Contract | Days | 36 hours per week; 4x10 or 3x12 shifts (7:00am–5:30pm or 7:00am–7:30pm) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback per unit needs
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedural labs serving adult and pediatric populations
Assist with and support mechanical and electrical cardiac diagnosis and intervention procedures including structural heart, vascular, and complex cardiac interventions
Manage and monitor patients receiving moderate sedation throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
Collaborate with cardiovascular technologists (CVTs) and the broader care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage telemetry in a high-acuity procedural environment
Support mechanical circulatory support devices and structural heart procedures as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Moderate sedation training and dysrhythmia/telemetry competency
Demonstrated experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
Experience with Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
