Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will:
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures
  • Circulate and scrub during cath lab cases as needed
  • Administer medications, including conscious sedation under physician supervision
  • Monitor hemodynamic status and recognize changes in patient condition
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field and specialized cath lab equipment
  • Respond to cardiac emergencies and support rapid intervention protocols
  • Accurately document procedural care in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware (or compact eligibility where applicable)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • 1-2 years of Cath Lab or critical care (ICU/ER) experience required
  • Strong cardiovascular assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure procedural environment
  • RCIS/RCES certification preferred but not required
