Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
LocationYork, PA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Hours between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No weekends, no holidays, no call required | Floating as needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a high-volume invasive cardiology unit operating multiple dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs
- Support and assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), and ventricular assist device (VAD)/ECMO cases
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures including complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation and explantation, and cardioversion
- Manage patient care across prep and recovery bays, ensuring patients are cared for through the completion of each shift
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other areas as needed and adhere to a tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment policy
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations or restrictions
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab settings
- Demonstrated competency in both EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through AHA or ARC only
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to remain until the last patient is cared for and willingness to float as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with peripheral intervention, pulmonary embolectomy, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, or left atrial appendage occlusion procedures
- Familiarity with caring for patients in a high-volume environment performing over 6,000 procedures annually
