• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Patient Ratio: 4-5 on days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Additional Notes: May float to other med-surg/telemetry units or low-acuity ICU as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of med-surg, telemetry, stepdown, or progressive care nursing experience required
• Recent Epic EHR experience within the last 12 months required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric neuro/telemetry patients in an inpatient hospital setting
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Willingness to float to related units when needed
• Travel nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neuro and telemetry stepdown patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to the plan of care
• Support patients with stroke, neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical needs
• Perform assessments, document findings in Epic, and communicate updates to the care team
• Manage IVs, central lines, oxygen therapy, and other common stepdown interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to promote safe, effective patient care
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while working efficiently in a 4-5 patient ratio environment
