Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience in cardiac stepdown, progressive care, telemetry, or a similar acute care setting preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment with changing patient needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and support treatment plans as ordered
• Perform ongoing assessments and document care accurately and on time
• Collaborate with providers and care team members to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, discharge planning, and readiness
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and organized patient care environment
