• Float Requirements: Medical Surgical and Telemetry; ED holds if up for admit
• Call Requirements: Yes, must be able to report within 30 minutes when called in
• Charting System: Medhost

Job Requirements

• Current active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in call coverage as needed
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac care, progressive care, and telemetry nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and post-op CABG patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes in condition, and collaborate with the care team to support timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments according to established clinical standards
• Support safe patient flow and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly when placed on call and be available to report within 30 minutes
