Job Title
Registered Nurse – Cardiac Step Down
LocationColumbia, SC
Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Step Down unit setting
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
- Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies
- Complete required pre-assignment modules and testing within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Step Down or similar unit
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
- Ability to complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills- LVAD experience
- Heart failure management experience
