Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Stepdown in Fargo, ND

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Administer medications and carry out nursing tasks in accordance with facility protocols
• Operate unit equipment including Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
• Float to other med/surg units across multiple facility locations within Fargo as needed
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 4–5:1 on day shift and 5–6:1 on night shift within a 32-bed unit

Required Qualifications

• Active ND or Compact RN License (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Willingness to float to all units and locations within Fargo as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac experience in a stepdown or similar acute care setting
• Familiarity with Omnicell and Alaris IV pump systems
