Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Stepdown

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac stepdown patients in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Monitor and assess patient condition, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms, reporting changes to the care team as appropriate
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Adhere to all facility policies, including badging in and out at the facility for each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in cardiac stepdown or a related acute care specialty
• Ability to work rotating shifts as required by the facility
• Compliance with all facility onboarding and credentialing requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiac stepdown or telemetry unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
