Description
Travel Cardiac Telemetry RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in South Carolina. Shifts are 7-7. AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIHSS required. Med and arrhythmia test required. Flu shot required, no exceptions. Cardiac Telemetry is a 32-bed telemetry unit with a specialty focus on the treatment of heart failure patients. This focus includes patient and family education on disease management and coordination of care into the outpatient setting. Other patient populations on this unit include chest pain (pre and post cardiac catheterization), NSTEMI, arrhythmia management (including continuous cardiac infusions), and advanced respiratory disease (including heated high flow oxygen therapy). Unit-specific competencies include arrhythmia, care of heated high flow oxygen, TR Bands post cardiac catheterization, cardiac infusions, and ACLS.
