Location: Salisbury, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week. Every other weekend required, plus 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period. Float and call requirements based on patient census.

Highlights:

• Fast-paced cardiac and stroke telemetry unit with 78-90 patient turnovers per week
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with team lead support for admissions and discharges
• Pre/post procedure care for cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, ICDs, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
• Epic (Dimensions) charting system with 36-hour orientation provided
• Contract length: 20+ weeks through February 27, 2027

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a similar high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Strong cardiac telemetry experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency in IV starts, cardiac drip management and titration, TR band management
• Experience with CVA/TIA patients, post-cardiac procedures, and management of complex cardiac patients
• North Carolina RN license or active Compact license
• Willingness to float within facility and work flexible scheduling
• Comfortable managing full patient assignment turnovers in high-volume setting
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted at posted rate
