Key Responsibilities of the RN - Diagnostic Cardiology

Performing TEEs and stress testing
Interpreting EKGs
Managing IVs and administering mild sedation
Coordinating and executing cardioversion procedures
Providing infusion therapy as required

Requirements of the RN - Diagnostic Cardiology

Valid RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 2 years of nursing experience with cardiac specialization
