We are seeking an experienced Outpatient EP RN to support an ambulatory cardiology office and its Electrophysiology (EP) Device Division.
This role focuses on adult cardiac patients, EP device management, patient triage, clinical advice, and supporting the cardiology team in an outpatient setting.
EP RN experience and device management experience are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Electrophysiology Device Division in an outpatient cardiology setting.
- Review and manage remote cardiac device reports and alerts using MURJ.
- Monitor device-related alerts and identify issues requiring clinical follow-up.
- Provide higher-level clinical support to the Medical Assistant team.
- Respond to patient questions and provide appropriate nursing guidance.
- Triage urgent patient symptoms and determine the appropriate level of care.
- Communicate with EP physicians and other members of the cardiology team regarding patient concerns.
- Assist with follow-up and management of adult cardiac patients.
- Supervise stress tests and monitor patients during testing.
- Support EP/cardiology consultations and follow-up visits.
- Document patient care and clinical communication accurately in EPIC.
- Educate patients regarding symptoms, treatment plans, and cardiac device-related care as appropriate.
Required / Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Ability to work with adult cardiac patients
- Strong assessment and patient-triage skills
Highly Preferred:
- EP RN experience
- EP Tech experience
- Cardiac device management experience
- Experience working with remote device monitoring
- Familiarity with MURJ
- Ambulatory cardiology experience
Outpatient EP RN opening starting in November — no weekends, no call, no floating. EP/device management experience is highly preferred, with MURJ remote monitoring, patient triage, and stress-test supervision in an adult cardiology clinic.
