Cardiology/Medical Surgical Nurse in Birmingham, Alabama. This position involves providing quality patient care on a cardiac/medsurge unit, with a focus on pre- and post-Heart Cath, general cardiology conditions such as hypertension and chest pain. The role requires a dedicated and dependable HCP (Health Care Professional) capable of working collaboratively within a fast-paced acute care environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 day shifts, 06:45 AM 07:15 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS and NIHSS; 0+ years of experience; open to candidates with basic acute care skills, preferably in Medsurge and Cardiology; located in Birmingham, Alabama
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medsurge and Cardiology providing expertise in caring for patients with conditions such as chest pain and hypertension
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units as needed
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for pre- and post-Heart Cath patients, general cardiology, and Medsurge patients. The candidate should be flexible, open to correction, friendly to staff and patients, and dependable. The dress code involves navy scrubs.
