**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Travel RN - CVICU
- **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
**Unit Overview:**
- **Location:** 3rd Floor, A Tower
- **Beds:** 16
- **Staff:** 45 skilled RNs
- **Patient Ratio:** 2:1
**Team Environment:**
- Day & Night Shifts:
- 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) per shift
- 2 patients per RN
- Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere
**Essential Equipment:**
- GE monitors
- EV 1000
- Hemispheres
- CRRT (NextStage)
- Impella
- Swan Ganz Catheters
- Arterial Lines
- Chest Tubes
- Ventilators
**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- **Must Have:**
- 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)
- Ventilator experience
- Arterial/Central line/Chest tube management
- **Nice to Have:**
- CVICU specific experience (CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella)
- Meditech experience
- BSN or CCRN certification
**Typical Procedures:**
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Swan Ganz catheter placement
- Arterial line insertion
- Chest tube management

**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
**Weekends:**
- 2 weekend shifts biweekly
- No on-call required
