Pay Rate: $1698.00 - $1785.00
Travel RN-Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular jobs in Chapel Hill, NC let you care for patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions in a facility known for its multidisciplinary teamwork and advanced technology. You will assess, monitor, and treat critically ill cardiovascular patients, operate life-support equipment, and document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid North Carolina RN or Compact RN license, and at least 1 year of recent intensive care unit (ICU) experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Recommended skills include proficiency in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, rapid response to emergencies, and strong communication. Experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), ventricular assist devices (VADs), and EMR systems is valued.
