Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $1,725 per week in Arlington, TX

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – Texas

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Arlington, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio; 2 weekend shifts biweekly; no on-call required

Highlights:

• 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in hemodynamic monitoring, CABG recovery, and advanced cardiac care
• 2:1 patient ratio with clinical nurse coordinator support on all shifts
• Advanced equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
• EMR: Meditech
• Floating to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac PCU as needed
• Collaborative team environment with all-RN staff

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or other critical care specialty)
• Ventilator management experience required
• Arterial line, central line, and chest tube management skills required
• Preferred: CVICU-specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella experience, Meditech experience, BSN, and CCRN certification
