Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $1,840 per week in Tuscaloosa, AL

Job Title: CICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year recent experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse, Alabama or compact license Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIHSS Must-Have: - Associated degree in nursing - 1 recent year of experience in the specialty Description: The position requires a willingness to float to other units as needed. Nurses must work collaboratively with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The unit provides complex monitoring and treatment for adult cardiac patients. Patients are received from various areas requiring specialized cardiac care. High levels of professional competency are expected from the nursing staff. The team is dedicated to making the patient experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe environment. Holiday work and every other weekend shifts are required. Candidates with 18 months of experience will be considered if working under the highest level of professional license. Preferred certifications include PALS if working in a pediatric unit.
