Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $1,959 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN – Tennessee

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time; 1:2 patient ratios (1:1 for certain device patients); 2 weekends per month; 1 summer holiday and 2 winter holiday shifts required; floating to other ICUs as needed

Highlights:

• 16-bed Cardiovascular ICU specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery care and advanced cardiac devices
• High-volume cardiac surgery program with 5 full-time surgeons performing advanced procedures
• Care for patients requiring ECMO, Centrimags, HM3 LVADs, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Intensivist assigned to unit 24/7; free-floating charge nurse to support staff
• Unit equipped with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps; Meditech EMR
• Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech support Monday through Friday
• Recognized with HCA Unit of Distinction Award and Daisy Award Recipient honors

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience required
• Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Experience with immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients preferred
