Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,015 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Coastal region, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with facility policy

Highlights:

• 28-bed mixed ICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3, including PCU/med-surg holds
• Advanced critical care procedures including fresh post-op CABG, impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, CRRT, and advanced hemodynamics
• Specialized neuro ICU experience including EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia protocols
• Meditech EMR system with mobile workstations and i-mobile phones for each care team member
• Bedside shift report required for every patient handoff
• Accredited Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center with Chest Pain Center recognition

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• 36 months RN experience with at least 12 months in ICU setting
• Prior CVICU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Ventilator management experience and proficiency in reading telemetry strips
• At least one previous successful travel nursing assignment preferred, ideally in a facility using Meditech
• BSN and advanced certifications (TNCC, CCRN) preferred
• Advanced skills in CRRT, advanced hemodynamics, and phlebotomy preferred
• Ability to administer respiratory treatments including inhalers and nebulizers
