Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,063 per week in Lafayette, IN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years ICU/CVICU experience, with at least 1 year of ventilator and cardiac drip experience. License: RN License required. Certifications: ACLS, NIH. Must-Have: Cardiac Rhythm Knowledge Exam (must pass facility test with 90%). Description: The purpose of the unit profile is to provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. The unit features a total of 27 beds. Patient ratios are acuity adaptable, ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity. Nursing staff are required to work every other weekend. Night shift staff can be placed on call or low census once every 4 weeks. Required equipment includes ekos, balloon pumps, OH, impella, IV pumps, transvenous pacers, cardiac monitors, CRRT, and ventilators. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. Ideal candidates should possess a hard-working, punctual, reliable, and outgoing personality. The dress code for nursing staff includes navy blue scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes sweatshirts or T-shirts, and facial piercings must be removed or covered with flesh-colored material. Previous critical care experience is preferred. Candidates must have at least 2 years of progressive care experience.
