Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,128 per week in Hickory, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of CVICU experience after orientation completion Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the CVICU department. The unit has 8 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1, occasionally 1:1. The patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses and treatments include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures. The role requires strong critical thinking skills. Required education is an Associate Nursing Degree. The dress code is professional scrubs in any color. Additional equipment used in the unit includes Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Floating requirements will be per scheduled rotation.
