Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,164 per week in Hickory, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS; CCRN preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1. 1.5 years of CVICU experience (after orientation complete) 2. Strong critical thinking skills Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The role involves caring for patients with common diagnoses such as CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid surgery. You will work with advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, and CRRT. Patient ratios are typically 2:1 with occasional 1:1 care. You will utilize an Electronic Health Record system for documentation. Weekend hours will be required every other weekend or as needed. There are no on-call requirements for this position. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Nursing Degree. Professional scrub attire is required, with flexibility on color.
