Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,215 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cardiac Intensive Care Unit License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 22 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred. - Skills in IV start, telemetry, ventilators, Swanz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines. - Epic experience required. - Previous travel experience preferred. Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse for a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This position involves weekdays and some weekends. There will be rotating holidays and floating within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. The estimated patient ratio is 1:1 to 2:1. Required skills include managing IVs, telemetry, ventilation support, and conscious sedation. The nurse will also provide care for patients on ECMO, VADs, and IABPs. Experience with cardiac surgery procedures is essential. This role includes providing care for patients with various cardiac and respiratory conditions. Candidates should be prepared to manage critically ill patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Interdisciplinary collaboration will be essential in this role. Nurses will be involved in patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency interventions. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
