Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments. License: Must hold a valid Ohio or compact nursing license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months recent cardiovascular intensive care unit experience. - Must work at least every other holiday. - Reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty required for submission. Description: Position requires working in a cardiovascular intensive care unit with both day and night shifts. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. The candidate must complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continued placement. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. Candidates must be nicotine-free as per current regulations for other travelers. Background checks will be conducted, and no open cases will be accepted. Compliance with all vaccination requirements is mandatory, with exemptions considered only for medical or religious reasons. All required modules and assessments must be completed prior to starting the position. Travelers may be submitted for one position at a time within this facility system. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this facility for one year from their previous end date. Additional conditions and qualifications may apply.
