Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating days and nights. Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift). Rotating holidays. Minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block required.
Highlights:
Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 in a 30-bed Cardiovascular ICU
Complex cardiac patient population including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, heart and lung transplants, VAD implantation, and ECMO
Epic charting system utilized across the facility
Orientation period of 36 hours provided
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
Float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity, not more than once every 4 weeks
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz catheters, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required promptly upon contract signing
