Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, day/night rotating schedule. Weekdays and some weekends (up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period). Rotating holidays. Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift.
Highlights:
Cardiovascular ICU specializing in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic critical care including CABG, valve repair, TAVR, heart and lung transplants, VAD implantation, and ECMO
Estimated patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, providing highly specialized intensive care
Epic electronic medical record system utilized across the facility
Float requirements within units of equivalent or lower acuity level (no more than once every 4 weeks)
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Advanced cardiac technology including ventricular assist devices, ECMO, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and temporary pacemakers
Requirements:
Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
Required clinical skills: IV start, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz/PA line monitoring, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, central line management, arterial line management
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
