Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,264 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts. Weekdays with some weekend shifts (up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period). Rotating holidays. Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.

• Cardiovascular ICU setting with advanced cardiac care including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, heart and lung transplant, VAD implantation, and ECMO
• Manageable patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, allowing for focused, intensive patient care
• Epic electronic medical record system utilized throughout the facility
• 13-week travel assignment with orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Work with advanced technology including ventricular assist devices, ECMO, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, and Impella

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz catheter management, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership position)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
