**Job Description:**
- **Location**: Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC
- **Shift**: 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Orientation Schedule**:
- September 14th, September 28th
- October 12th, October 26th
- November 9th, November 16th
- December 7th

- 355 beds, offering comprehensive healthcare services
- Specialized in Brain, Cancer, Heart, Lung Centers, and more
- 32 bed ED, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging
- Frye South Campus: 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital
**Position Information**:
- **Department**: CVICU 6540
- **Role**: RN
- **Specialty**: CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours**: 36
- **Weekend Requirements**: Every other weekend or as needed
- **Call Requirements**: No on-call duties
**Qualifications**:
- **Required Certifications**: ACLS, BLS
- **Preferred Certifications**: CCRN
- **Experience**: Minimum 1.5 years in a critical care environment
- **Skills**: Strong critical thinking skills
**Unit Information**:
- **Number of Beds**: 8
- **Patient Ratios**: 2:1 with occasional 1:1
- **Equipment**: Impella, IABP, CRRT
- **EHR**: Cerner
- **Patient Population**: Adult/Geriatric
**Hiring Profile**:
- **Must Have Skills/Experience**: 1 year of CVICU experience
- **Common Diagnoses/Treatments**: CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids
