Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in CVICU for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment within a Surgical and Medical Cardiac Critical Care unit. Ideal for those with a keen interest in cardiovascular support, this position welcomes candidates with CVICU experience, including first-time travelers.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU
  • Provide patient care in a 22-bed ICU unit with a patient ratio of RN: 1:2
  • Manage post-operative patients including CABG, valve replacement/repair, and more
  • Perform circulatory support care involving IABP, Impella, LVAD, ECMO
  • Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and interpret cardiac waveforms
  • Titrate vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medication
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including CNA, RT, and intensivists

Requirements of the RN - CVICU
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience
  • CCRN preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
