Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,326 per week in Neptune, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years in Cardiovascular ICU License: Active State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours), Telemetry Must-Have: Strong experience in telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, and vascular stepdown nursing. LVAD competency required. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on patient problems or needs and physician's medical diagnosis. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Float Requirement: Yes - to other intensive care units. Strong open-heart background is required.
