Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,368 per week in Milwaukee, WI

License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a multi-state nursing license from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent. - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA-approved equivalent. Must-Have: - Experience in clinical competence and management of target patient populations specific to the specialty area of employment. - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice as usually acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to primarily adult populations. The role incorporates essential functions adapted from nursing scope and standards of practice. Traveling Registered Nurses will be trained on balloon pump and Impella devices. They will work in the Transplant Intensive Care Unit and be needed to support staff on night shifts. Cardiac travelers may also manage these devices as needed. The unit serves as overflow for cardiovascular intensive care patients.
