The unit consists of 30 beds, with 18 dedicated to cardiovascular intensive care and 12 for cardiovascular intermediate care. Care includes management for surgical cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients as well as acute coronary syndrome. Nurses on this unit are trained to handle advanced cardiovascular procedures and protocols.
