Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers Must-Have: - CVICU nursing experience - Balloon pump operation - Impella device operation Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment are required. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing. The role may involve managing devices as needed and providing support to staff during night shifts. Only one major holiday off is allowed per contract.
