Pulmonary Rehab patients have COPD, bronchitis, PHT. Special Procedures/Unit Details : Cardiac Rehab services are inpatient cardiac rehab at the hospital, outpatient cardiac rehab in the gym across the parking lot from the hospital. Pulmonary rehab is outpatient only and is in the gym across the parking lot from the hospital. Special Equipment : Outpatients Patient exercise and are monitored on Scottcare telemetry and reporting system. Monitoring is from telemetry monitors, and pulse oximetry. Inpatient cardiac rehab consists of education and ambulation's for patient s/p cardiac interventional procedures, cardiac surgery, and HF. You should be able to: Accurately analyze EKG strips using systematic interpretation (rate, rhythm, P waves, PR interval, QRS complex, etc.), with measurements using the 5 steps process Calculate heart rate using appropriate methods (e.g., 6-second strip, R-R interval) Identify and differentiate between rhythm types without prompts or answer choices The exam will include, but is not limited to: Ventricular rhythms Atrial rhythms Heart blocks Junctional rhythms Paced rhythms Strong foundational knowledge and the ability to apply critical thinking skills in rhythm interpretation are essential for success.
