The shift will be during nights. The role involves caring for critically ill patients. The nurse will work in a staffing ratio of 1:2. Weekend work is necessary, with every other weekend required. The nurse will be expected to float within the ICU community as needed. Candidates must not be first-timers in this specialty. Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is preferred. Must be able to manage high-acuity patients, including those on ventilators. The nurse will engage in patient assessments and provide necessary interventions. The role involves collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams. Work will involve the management of complex cardiovascular conditions. The unit supports adult and geriatric patient populations. Daily census will include a range of 24 patients. The nurse will participate in hemodynamic monitoring. Proficiency in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing dysrhythmias is required. Experience with critical care procedures is essential for this role. Travelers must be prepared for compliance checks and meet all background requirements.
