Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - Required experience in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the operating room. - Current experience with recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. - Proficiency with ventilators, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Swan-Ganz catheters, epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive drip titration, Level 1 Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). License: - Active RN License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred - Critical Care Certification preferred - Trauma course preferred - Epic certification preferred Must-Have: - Ability to work in a high-acuity environment. - Flexibility to work rotating shifts. Description: This role involves providing care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, and the placement of ventricular assist devices.
