Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,642 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: - Trained and worked in a dedicated open-heart unit receiving patients directly from the operating room. License: - Registered Nurse License Certifications: - BLS Must-Have: - Current experience with the recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. - Experience with ventilation, CRRT, Swan-ganz catheter, epicardial wires/pacemakers, and titration of vasoactive drips. - Familiarity with Level 1 IABP and ECMO. Description: - The unit provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. - The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2. - ACLS certification, critical care certification, trauma course training, and familiarity with electronic health records are preferred. - Assignments are available for 36 or 48 hours per week.
