# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Cardiac ICU – Colorado

Location: Denver, Colorado

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 4 shifts per 4-week schedule | 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio

• 10-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU specializing in congenital cardiac care, serving as the facility's ECMO center
• Advanced equipment including Centrimag, Prismax, Arctic Sun, Phillips monitors, Med fusion and Baxter pumps
• Collaborative team averaging 10 years nursing experience with high engagement and culture of safety scores
• EMR system: Meditech
• Support from board-certified pediatric/congenital heart intensivists and multidisciplinary team
• Flexible travel nursing contract with opportunities to resource and teach

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Critical Care experience required
• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Preferred: Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT skills, and ECMO bedside experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and flexibility skills

Typical Responsibilities:

• Post-operative cardiac care including inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions
• IV fluid and chest tube management
• Care of post-sternotomy/open chest patients
• Moderate sedation administration
• Supporting medical neonates and cardiac patients requiring advanced life support
