Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,779 per week in Overland Park, KS

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week, 3 shifts per week, 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Highlights:

• 10-bed Cardiovascular ICU with 2:1 patient ratios in a Unit of Distinction setting
• Complex cardiac patient population including open heart procedures and ECMO cannulation
• Advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, Alaris IV Pumps, and GE Bedside Monitors
• Total Care Support available including unit secretaries and technicians
• EMR: Meditech documentation system
• Floating to Medical ICU and floor units as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certification
• Experienced ICU RN with strong telemetry skills
• Required experience: pressors, positive inotropes, pacemaker management, chest tubes, and post-procedure recovery
• Cath/EP Lab recovery experience, pericardial drains, and proficiency with frequent site and vital sign assessments
• CVICU experience strongly preferred; charge nurse experience highly valued for night shift candidates
• Royal blue scrubs required
