Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period, 48 hours guaranteed

Highlights:

• 10-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit designated as a Unit of Distinction
• 2:1 patient ratio with total care support including unit secretaries and tech availability
• Advanced cardiac care including open heart procedures, ECMO cannulation, IABP, and Impella support
• Documentation system: Meditech EMR
• Equipment: Alaris IV Pumps, GE Bedside Monitors, IABP, Impella
• Floating policy to Medical ICU and floor units as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state license
• ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certifications required
• Experienced ICU RN with strong critical care background
• Essential skills: Telemetry monitoring, vasopressor and positive inotrope management, pacemaker care, chest tube management, Cath/EP Lab recovery, pericardial drains, frequent site and vital sign assessments
• CVICU experience strongly preferred; charge nurse experience for night shift highly desirable
