Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: September 1, 2026

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; 48 hours guaranteed weekly

• 10-bed Cardiovascular ICU recognized as a Unit of Distinction with high-quality standards
• 2:1 patient ratio with comprehensive total care support including unit secretaries and tech availability
• Advanced patient population including post-open heart procedures, ECMO cannulation, IABP, and Impella management
• State-of-the-art equipment including Alaris IV pumps, GE bedside monitors, IABP, and Impella devices
• Meditech electronic documentation system
• May float to Medical ICU and floor units as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state licensure
• ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certification required
• Experienced ICU RN with demonstrated critical care competency
• Must have experience with: Telemetry, Pressors, Positive Inotropes, Pacemakers, Chest Tubes, Cath/EP Lab recovery, Pericardial drains, and frequent vital sign assessments
• CVICU experience strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred for night shift candidates
