This 13-week night shift contract (3x12-hour shifts) offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,880. It's an excellent role for RNs with strong critical care experience, particularly in managing post-cardiac surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel CVICU RN:
- Deliver critical care to post-cardiac surgery patients, including bypass, valve replacement, and heart transplant cases.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilators, and invasive lines.
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications according to protocols.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, intensivists, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Document interventions accurately and adhere to ICU protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and rapid changes in patient condition.
Requirements of the Travel CVICU RN:
- Active Virginia RN license (or compact eligible).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years' recent CVICU or ICU experience.
- Proficiency in critical care monitoring, procedures, and medication management.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
